The last month has been very difficult for me to balance the incredible increase in work as TamPogo grows with keeping a daily Journal that requires time and energy. Although the network hears from me through e-mails and corporate calls, I wanted to assure everyone that I was in fact fine. Actually, I feel great. The last month was challenging as far as keeping a good eating plan together. There has been far too many restaurants and far too many late meals. But I haven’t lost focus and the final result isn’t as good as I had hoped for but it isn’t too shabby either. I began the program at 318 and ended the 100 days at 248. Seventy pounds down in 100 days. 248 is still rather overweight so I have a lot more to do. I am definitely not done. In truth, I have actually kept to all my changes although my calories in general have been a little higher in the last month. Not too high to drop a couple pounds per week! I am going to plan Phase 2. Phase 2 is going to address the only aspect of the 100 day program that I failed at – exercise. I was simply not able to sustain any type of consistent exercise, given all my physical impairments. That was then and now is now. I am going to attack it logically, methodically and consistently and get it done. One small step at a time, of course. My plan is to start at the end of this week and to mini chart 50 days. I have four new goals for the end of the 50 days: 1. To weigh 225 or less. 2. To have exercise consistently. 3. To run ¼ mile at the end of the 50 days. 4. To get of my blood pressure meds while maintaining normal readings. Thank you everyone for your constant support. It meant a lot to me in this Journey and although I didn’t lose 100 pounds, being 70 pounds lighter and enjoying all these new lifestyle habits is really great. Stay tuned for Part 2.
